We are currently booking 6+ weeks out for wellness/vaccine appointments. We send email reminders out months in advance to give our clients plenty of time to schedule their pets before they become overdue. Please call to schedule your pet's vaccines/exam as soon as you receive the first reminder.
Pet Food Donation Event- Saturday December 21st from 9am to 12 noon
We will be collecting pet food for Feeding America. When you bring a bag or case of food to donate, we will provide your pet with a free nail trim. We will not be doing free nail trim vouchers as we had in the past; instead, the free nail trim will be performed during this collection event.
Saturdays:
We will be closed on Saturday October 19th and Saturday October 26th. For the remainder of the year, we will be open fro 9am to 12 noon on the first and 3rd Saturdays of the month. The first Saturday of the month, we will be having walk in nail trims and on the 3rd Saturday of the month we will be open for Happy Yappy Practice visits (see more info below on walk in nail trim and Happy Yappy Practice Visits.) These Saturdays we will be open for medication and food pick ups, but we will not be seeing appointments.

Effective Wednesday October 30th we will no longer be scheduling nail trim appointments. This change has been made so that our staff can focus on the medical needs of our patients.
- Your pet will still be able to have their nails trimmed at their appointments scheduled for medical needs.
- Instead of nail trim appointments, on the first Saturday of every month beginning on Saturday October 5th, we will be open from 9am-12 noon for walk-in nail trims.
- These walk-in nail trims will be completed on a first-come first-serve basis, and are intended for our current patients who are up to date on their annual examination and rabies vaccination.
- Pull up to the curb and check in with our staff member waiting outside the front doors.
- Our staff member will take you and your pet’s names, your phone number, and then you can go park in the parking lot.
- We will call you when we are ready for you to bring your pet inside for their nail trim.
- Please pay for your nail trim inside, after the technicians have completed the nail trim.
Introducing Happy Yappy Practice Visits!
We want to start our relationship with your pet as positive and rewarding from the beginning! That is why we decided to start offering Happy Yappy Practice Visits. We invite you to bring your dog in to practice walking into our office, getting on the scale, and standing on the exam table. Our staff will spend a few minutes getting to know you and your dog and then walk them around our clinic and most importantly, give them lots and lots of treats! This will help your dog to associate the vet’s office with something positive and hopefully reduce their (and your) anxiety and stress the next time you bring them in. Beginning Saturday October 12th, our office will be open one Saturday a month for you to bring your dog in for a positive experience at the vet.

A friendly reminder for our wonderful clients:

New Appointment Policy:
Due to ever increasing demand for appointments and frequent last-minute cancellations and no-shows, clients will be charged the cost of an office visit if an appointment is cancelled without 24 hours notice OR if a client simply does not show for their appointment. We have many clients waiting for appointments, and it is simply unacceptable to schedule appointments and then cancel the appointment with no time for our office to add a new pet to this appointment time. In an effort to meet the needs of all of our clients, this policy will be enforced, effective November 1st, 2022.
