Practice Philosophy

Our practice is built on the foundation of caring for your pets as if they were our own.
Every single one of us are experienced pet owners, we care and we understand how it feels when your pet is injured or sick. 
At CHVA, we understand how much your pets mean to you and your family. We want to strengthen the human-animal bond and improve the livelihood of your companion through client education and the most advanced medical care we can provide. 
We are strongly committed to the animals of Red Lion, York, Dallastown, Spry, East York, Yorkanna, Wrightsville, Dover, Stewartstown, Shrewsbury and surrounding areas. 

A team effort.
Medicine and healing doesn't begin and end in our office. It involves a team approach with the pet owner(s), veterinarian, veterinary care team as well as the occasional veterinary specialists and, of course, includes the animal itself! We care about your pet, and want them to succeed and get better as soon as possible. If we feel they would be better served by a specialist, we will let you know as soon as possible and we work closely with your pet's specialist to maintain an optimal level of care between offices and home.
