Cape Horn Veterinary Associates expects payment at the time of service. If your pet has an emergency or urgent care situation, we will work with you as much as possible, but we recommend several alternatives to that uncomfortable situation.

PET INSURANCE
CHVA works with most pet insurance companies, but we recommend Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) and Petplan Pet Insurance to help cover the cost of treating your pet. VPI is the nation’s oldest and largest pet health insurance provider. You can enroll your pet at 6 weeks or 6 years. Chronic and recurring conditions that are not pre-existing are covered at no extra charge. Because VPI policies offer portable protection, you are able to use the licensed veterinarian of your choice. Petplan is lifelong protection that allows pet parents to get their dogs and cats the treatment they deserve. All Petplan pet health insurance policies include coverage for illnesses and injuries, hereditary and chronic conditions, veterinary exam fees, prescription medications, diagnostic treatments and imaging, cancer treatments, alternative therapies, and more. |
